Get Off The Computer and Write That Article

There is something I have to admit.  It is a huge problem for me.  I’m almost embarrassed to tell you what it is.

Getting articles written for article marketing while on the computer is hard.

Do you have the same problem?  You’ve read the ebooks and the reports and the blogs on how to make money online.  A lot of people are saying that article marketing is the way to go if you have little to no money to get started with.  Of course they make it sound like no big deal to sit down and knock out a few hundred articles.  Like it’s nothing.

So you figure you’ll give it a try.  You already have a few topics running around in your head so why not start with those.  Until of course you actually sit down at the computer to start writing.  First you have to check your email, Facebook, Twitter and Myspace accounts.  During that time there are the links you have to check out from all the gurus that you’ve subscribed to (even though most of them repeat the same stuff).

After that hour or two of checking your accounts the kids need showers and going to bed so the article writing will have to wait until that’s done.  Now you get back on the computer and you’ve got to comment on what your buddy just said on Facebook and the picture your mom posted of the family get together.  Before you know it the clock and your eyes are screaming it’s time for bed because you have to get up in five hours to go to that full time job you have because you aren’t able to start the article marketing that will bring in the money so you can quit the full time job and stay home.

Maybe that’s just me but maybe it’s you too.  Well I have some advise for both of us.  Get a pad of paper, a pen and write those articles for your article marketing away from the computer.

I know what you’re saying, “You mean actually write with my hands using a pen on paper.”  Yes, that is exactly what I am saying.  I’ll tell you why…

Mass Article Control

Today I had to take my wife to the doctor because she has not been feeling good.  I started to find a book I could read while I waited on her but then I seen my small notepad that I had scribbled article ideas.  It occurred to me why not write some of those articles while waiting on her.  I’d be away from the computer and so could get something done.

Well sure enough I was able to knock out one and a half articles in about 30 minutes.  Now to some that might not seem like a lot, but when you haven’t done any yet that is a ton.

So if you haven’t been able to get those articles written to start your article marketing then get yourself away from the computer with a pen and paper and start writing.  No one said just because you are marketing on a computer you have to write on the computer.  Get it on paper then copy it to the computer.

Remember, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.

Break the cycle you are in and get those articles written.
